This year marks an important milestone for Prime Building Projects — ten years since the company was founded.

What began as a small, hands-on building company has grown into a trusted name for high-quality construction, renovations and extensions across Cheshire and South Manchester.

Over the past decade, Prime has built a reputation for exceptional craftsmanship, attention to detail and a personal approach to managing every project.

Prime was established in 2015 by director Dean Newsham, who started his career as a highly skilled joiner working on large-scale developments across the North West. Through years of experience on major construction projects, Dean developed a deep understanding of construction, project management and the standards required to deliver outstanding homes.

Recognising an opportunity to offer homeowners something different — a builder who combines technical expertise with a genuinely personal approach — Dean launched Prime Building Projects.

From the beginning, the philosophy was simple: focus on quality, take pride in the details and build strong relationships with clients.

Unlike many building companies, Prime intentionally limits the number of projects undertaken at any one time. This allows Dean to remain closely involved throughout each build, regularly on site and working alongside the team to ensure every stage meets the company’s high standards.

That approach has proven successful. Much of Prime’s work now comes through repeat clients and personal recommendations — something Dean sees as the strongest possible endorsement.

Over the past ten years, the team has delivered a wide range of projects including bespoke new builds, large home extensions, loft conversions and full property refurbishments. Each project is different, but the goal remains the same: to create beautifully finished homes that enhance the way people live.

To mark this ten-year milestone, Prime is also launching a brand new website. The new site reflects the company’s growth and provides a place to showcase recent projects, share insight into the building process and make it easier for homeowners to explore the services Prime offers.

The website also introduces a refreshed brand identity for the business — a natural step as the company continues to evolve while staying true to the values it was built on.

Looking ahead, the focus remains firmly on quality rather than scale.
